Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to Intereliant. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our privacy practices.

Emails

The data you send via our email form on top of each page is used only for the purpose of contacting you and not shared with others. Email addresses are stored only for customer registration, service and support. Emails from spammers are fed to our spam filters.

Cookie Policy

Intereliant DOES NOT use Cookies. The only exception Intereliant allows are notices displayed once when you arrive at a home page. Some third party adverts may contain cookies, but we seek to avoid them.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer to enable analysis of your website use. Cookies by themselves can not be used to discover the identity of the user, but careful analysis of persistent cookie use can. If you do not want anyone to store or access cookies, configure your browser to deny or disable the use of cookies. Look at Settings or Preferences.

We do not approve the use of cookies for social profiling because they are used to collect usage data for the purpose of usage-based online advertising, including Online Behavioral Targeting (OBA), such as the type of site you are visiting, attended classes and/or product pages, demographic data such as age, gender, location, and more. Intereliant does not collect personal information.

The sharing buttons on social networking sites also use cookies generated by the social networks themselves. Intereliant can not be held responsible for the use made of these buttons and cookies by publishers or readers.

Website Logs

As is true of most websites, we gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, version, and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data for web server performance checks, rate limiting or to prevent abuse.

We may collect information regarding user activities on our website. This information is aggregated and used to help us provide more useful information to our users to understand which parts of our website, products, and services are of most interest, and for general system diagnostics. Aggregated data is considered non-personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13 without first receiving verifiable parental consent we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

All this data gets deleted after a month or two. We do not practice or approve long term data retention. Unless otherwise stated below, this information is not used for any other purpose.

Information we may share

We do not share your information with companies, organisations, or individuals unless one of the following circumstances applies:

  • With your consent.
  • When legally required.

We will share the information we have with entities outside if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is necessary to:

  • meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request,
  • enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations,
  • detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues,
  • protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Intereliant, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

We will update this privacy policy as needed so that it is current, accurate, and as clear as possible.
